Romney and facts do not agree
The Carpetbagger Report points out the error Mitt Romney made with the assertion Iraq was attacked because inspectors were kicked out of Iraq.
Regardless of being incorrect, Romney's rhetoric mirrors the statements of the White House. This calculated move assumes Americans forgot The Twig's deadlines on Iraq. Deadlines? Yes, The Twig counted down time for the invasion of Iraq but refuses to count down on the removal of troops. Situationalists probably do not mind the different principles; however, some Christians in the 1960s became enraged when someone suggested Jesus was a situationalist. Do you consider sins of omission, half-truths, white lies, and rewriting history acceptable behavior for the President? |

Facts rarely get in the way of a really good story.
