There is nothing worse than wishing to be the President of the United States and learning that people do not want you to win the Republican nomination. However, this is the case for Mr. Giuliani. The organization known as the Conservative Declaration of Independence is against Mr. G. and they are making sure others know about their complaints. The biggest complaint is that Mr. G takes liberal stances on certain issues. GASP. There is the "L" word - and we are not talking about DC's daughter this time! Maria Comella, spokeswoman for the Giuliani campaign, said "The mayor has always been straightforward on the issues and where he stands, and Republicans across the country have responded."
He has always been clear? Are we to forget that the after debate clarifications on Mr. G's stances were because he was not straightforward on the issues? Do you recall all of the contortions the man made after the debate?
