Do you ever think politicians do anything besides lie to you? Despite the Democrats pledging to change the course on the Bush War, the politicians passed a bill which continues the authorization of spending billions on a Bush War.
President Bush signed another spending bill yesterday to extend the Bush War into months more of bombings and deaths. The trap for politicians is the idea that they cannot be against a terrible war and be strong on defense. The Republican attack has been that anyone against the Bush War is against the troops. Reasoned individuals, though, know that this is a false statement. Americans can support the troops by bringing our soldiers home - alive and not in a casket.
