Peter S. Canellos from the Boston Globe writes
the whopper story some reporters are worried to point out - the obvious. What is the obvious? Republican hopefuls must embrace the party line or die on the vine. The Can-did-dates must embrace the Bush War as if they would have done the same. Yeah. Sure. You cannot blame them, though. Can you? After all, money would be cut off and support staff would disappear. Therefore, candidates hoping to make a splash in the media, do the cannon ball, and hope they are not all wet. Yeah - they are all wet - around the ears. No one willingly embraces a position most voters dislike unless they are hoping people will forget. Are you planning on forgetting that 9/11 attacks were done by people not from Iraq? Are you really going to forget that The Twig stated we entered Iraq because of "weapons of mass destruction"? Are you going to remember that there were no weapons?
When you enter the "voting booth," will you still vote the party line or fight the temptation to keep the insane status quo?
